1. 0-6s Focus Toast reads. Woof! He looks out the window.
   Toast: Puppy! What page was I on? So fluffy!
2. 6-16s Bex flips his tassel.
   Bex: Find your place, then return! Your bookmark knows.
3. 16-25s Bex slips into the book.
   Bex: Here is your spot. Page twelve. / Toast: Thanks, Bex!
4. 25-30s Toast reads. Woof again! Toast holds Bex tight in place and keeps reading. The dog barks approval.
   Toast: Still here! / Bex: Find your place, then return! / Toast: Back to it!

1. 0-6s Shelby tells a story. A butterfly floats by. Bex follows it.
   Bex: Ooh, pretty! Wait for me!
2. 6-16s Bex catches himself.
   Bex: Sorry, Shelby. Find your place, then return. Where were we?
3. 16-25s Shelby smiles.
   Shelby: The whale was singing. And the moon listened.
4. 25-30s The butterfly lands on Shelby's ridges. Both whisper-giggle as she finishes the story.
   Shelby: It wanted the story too! / Bex: Find your place, then return! / Bex: Story stays!

1. 0-6s Vinnie spins slowly.
   Vinnie: I tripped yesterday. I tripped yesterday.
2. 6-16s Bex waves.
   Bex: That is a replay. Find your place, then return. What is now?
3. 16-25s Vinnie stops spinning.
   Vinnie: Now is painting. Tell it, then choose now.
4. 25-30s Vinnie paints a picture of himself tripping. It looks like a dance. They laugh.
   Vinnie: Trip-dance! / Bex: Back to now!

1. 0-6s Gogo starts picking up blocks, then rolls off to a ball.
   Gogo: Ball! Bounce! Bouncy, bouncy!
2. 6-16s Bex points at the blocks.
   Bex: Find your place, then return! Where were you? Blocks first, ball after.
3. 16-25s Gogo zooms back.
   Gogo: Blocks. Right. Where was I? / Bex: Blue box! / Gogo: Blue box, blue box!
4. 25-30s Gogo finishes, then tosses the ball into the box. It bounces out and onto Bex's tassel.
   Gogo: Oops! / Bex: Almost return! / Gogo: Ball after blocks, right? / Bex: Right!

1. 0-6s Bex holds his stance, then looks at a shiny poster.
   Bex: Ooh, sparkles! Shiny, shiny poster!
2. 6-16s Glo stays calm.
   Glo: Where is your stance? Where are your feet? Find it slowly.
3. 16-25s Bex breathes and finds his feet.
   Bex: Find your place, then return. Feet wide. Eyes front.
4. 25-30s Bex holds his stance again. The poster falls down. Bex stays still, proud. Glo laughs softly.
   Glo: Strong focus! / Bex: Back and steady! / Bex: Did you see that? Still steady!

1. 0-6s Tater reads a picture book. A butterfly flutters past the window.
   Tater: Ooh! Look at that butterfly! So many colors!
2. 6-16s The butterfly leaves. Tater stares at the book, lost.
   Tater: Uh oh. Where was I? All the pages look the same.
3. 16-25s Bex slides between two pages.
   Bex: Right here! Find your place, then return.
4. 25-30s Tater reads on. The very next page is all about butterflies. Tater gasps. Bex winks.
   Bex: Find your place, then return!

1. 0-6s Bristle paints a garden. A bird flies by.
   Bristle: Ooh, a bird! A red one!
2. 6-16s He looks back at his painting.
   Bristle: Where was I? Which flower was I painting?
3. 16-25s Bex slides next to the canvas.
   Bex: Find your place, then return! You were on the last flower.
4. 25-30s Bristle finishes the flower. Then he adds the red bird. Bex says it is the best part.
   Bex: Find your place, then return!

1. 0-6s Focus Toast is reading when a fly zooms past; he follows it around the whole room.
   Toast: Ooh, fly! Wait. What was I reading?
2. 6-16s Bex Bookmark pops up from the book, waving her tassel.
   Bex: I saved your spot! Right here, the page with the duck.
3. 16-25s Toast takes a breath and names it.
   Toast: I felt distracted. Now I'm back. Duck page, here I come.
4. 25-30s Toast reads to the end; the fly lands on the duck picture and seems to read too.
   Bex: Find your place, then return! Toast: Even the fly agrees!

1. 0-6s Ravi looks at a picture book. A bird outside distracts him. He loses his place.
   Ravi: Where was I? Ravi: Ooh, a bird!
2. 6-16s Bex slides into the page.
   Bex: Find your place, then return! Ravi: Bookmark!
3. 16-25s Ravi looks, then returns to the page.
   Ravi: The bookmark helped. I will keep that tool. Bex: Nice!
4. 25-30s The bird lands on the windowsill. Ravi waves, then returns to his page.
   Ravi: Keep the tool that helped! Ravi: Hi, bird. Back to my book.

1. 0-6s Reading corner. Nixie sighs at an open picture book.
   Nixie Snowflake: Everyone reads fast but me. / Bex Bookmark: How long have you read?
2. 6-16s Bex slides into the book to hold the place.
   Nixie Snowflake: Two weeks. / Bex Bookmark: That's new! New is a real stage. I'll hold your place.
3. 16-25s Nixie reads slowly, finger under words.
   Nixie Snowflake: The... frog... sat... on... a... log! / Bex Bookmark: A whole page!
4. 25-30s Nixie flips the page eagerly. Bex dives in to hold the spot, tassel waving.
   Nixie Snowflake: Next page, please! / Bex Bookmark: Marked and ready!

1. 0-6s Bedroom. Patch reads under a lamp, eyes drooping.
   Patch Petal: Just one more page. And one more...
2. 6-16s Bex slides up beside the book.
   Bex Bookmark: Sleepy time. I can hold your place. / Patch Petal: Will I find it again?
3. 16-25s Bex tucks into the page. Patch closes the book gently.
   Bex Bookmark: Right here, all night.
4. 25-30s Morning. Patch opens the book. Bex is asleep inside, snoring tiny zzz's.
   Patch Petal: Good morning, Bex! Park the plan. Come back later!
