City Contracts Lead

The one-paragraph version
You land the city and county contracts: animal services, public health, sanitation. You own the pilot pitch, the council presentation, the procurement paperwork and the renewal.
What you will actually do
- Find the buyer inside each city: animal services, public health, public works, the council office — and get the 90-day pilot on their calendar.
- Present the pilot to a council or a department head, plainly, with the numbers they can check.
- Run the procurement: the RFP, the sole-source memo, the insurance certificate, the vendor packet. You know this paperwork or learn it in a month.
- Renewals: the day-90 packet becomes the year-one contract; you carry it through.
- Feed the Head of Program a clean pipeline: which city, what stage, what is blocking it.
Who fits
- Has sold to or worked inside a city, county or school district and knows what procurement actually looks like.
- Comfortable in a council chamber and in a hallway conversation after it.
- Persistent without being annoying; keeps a pipeline honest.
Requirements
- No degree required. 3+ years selling to or working inside government, or an equivalent record of closing complicated deals.
- California first; travel to pilot cities.

Full time · per region
Commission on every signed program plus a base to be negotiated
Direct hire · 1099. All roles are 1099 independent-contractor positions for now; no insurance or benefits are offered at this time, possibly in the future as programs are signed.
