1. 0-6s Kites fly. Tessa sits at the edge, string tail curled.
   Kiki: Hi Tessa! Want to fly with us?
2. 6-16s Tessa shakes her tag.
   Tessa: I just want to watch today.
3. 16-25s Kiki nods and lands beside her.
   Kiki: Watching can be a first step. Could you tell us which way the wind goes?
4. 25-30s Tessa lifts her string tail. It flutters left. Everyone turns left and soars. Tessa gives a tiny proud wave from her seat.

1. 0-6s Planning a game. Moxie pops up again and again.
   Moxie: TAG! TAG AGAIN! SUPER LOUD TAG! TAG FOREVER!
2. 6-16s Wally holds up a small drawing, but nobody sees.
   Kiki: Wait, everybody. Wally has an idea too. Look here.
3. 16-25s Everyone leans in. Wally's drawing shows a kite parade.
   Kiki: A kite parade! Moxie: Ooh. That is even better than tag.
4. 25-30s They march in a parade. Moxie leads with a quiet waving flag instead of shouting. Wally walks proudly holding his drawing.
   Kiki: Ideas can arrive quietly!

1. 0-6s Kiki zooms ahead. Nellie hops in an L-shape.
   Kiki: I win! Nellie: No fair, you went before go!
2. 6-16s They both stop, a little grumpy.
   Kiki: Hmm. I think we had different rules in our heads.
3. 16-25s They sit and agree.
   Nellie: Start on "go." Kiki: Finish at the big tree. Both: Deal!
4. 25-30s On "go," Kiki floats and Nellie hops. They tie at the tree, then argue happily about who says "go" next time.
   Nellie: New rules need shared agreement!

1. 0-6s Chester tosses a tiny paper plane. It loops beautifully.
   Kiki: Chester, that was an amazing loop!
2. 6-16s Chester shrugs and looks at his shoes.
   Chester: It was just luck. It is nothing, really.
3. 16-25s Kiki floats down next to him.
   Kiki: You can just say thank you. Let a kind word land.
4. 25-30s Chester takes a breath and says thank you. The paper plane loops back on its own and lands right in his hands. Kiki cheers.
   Chester: Thank you! Let a kind word land!

1. 0-6s Kiki stands in a still field. Her tail droops. Nothing moves.
   Kiki: No wind at all. I really, really wanted to fly.
2. 6-16s Glo sits beside her.
   Glo: Disappointed is okay. Can you let today be a still day?
3. 16-25s Kiki breathes out and lies in the grass next to Glo. They look at the clouds.
   Kiki: Hey. That cloud looks like a kite.
4. 25-30s Kiki sighs happily. Her sigh lifts her one inch off the grass, then back down. She laughs so hard her tail wiggles.
   Kiki: I flew one whole inch!

“Disappointed is okay.”

1. 0-6s Across the park, Kiki waves. Iggy waves back big.
   Iggy: Hi, Kiki! Hi! Over here! Hiiii!
2. 6-16s Kiki was waving at someone behind him. Iggy freezes.
   Iggy: Oh no. That was so awkward. I want to hide.
3. 16-25s Ruby shrugs her leafy crown.
   Ruby: That happens to me too. An awkward moment can pass.
4. 25-30s Iggy waves at a tree. Ruby waves at a cloud. Soon everyone waves at everything. A bird waves back.
   Ruby: An awkward moment can pass!

1. 0-6s Follow the leader. Stella is first again.
   Stella: Follow me! Stamp, stamp, stamp! Copy my moves!
2. 6-16s Kiki droops at the back of the line.
   Kiki: Stella, can I lead sometimes too?
3. 16-25s Stella stops and thinks.
   Stella: Yes! I lead, then I let others lead. Your turn, Kiki!
4. 25-30s Kiki leads with floaty spins. Nellie hops in L-shapes behind. Stella tries to spin and stamp at once and plops down. Everyone giggles.
   Stella: Lead, then let others lead!

1. 0-6s Kiki paints a sky. Bristle reaches in.
   Bristle: Let me fix that cloud for you!
2. 6-16s Lumi stops him gently.
   Lumi: Offer, do not take over. Ask first.
3. 16-25s Bristle asks.
   Bristle: Kiki, do you want help with your painting? Kiki: No thanks. I like it this way.
4. 25-30s Bristle nods. Kiki finishes her sky, full of tiny kites. Bristle loves it more than his own version.
   Lumi: Offer, do not take over!

1. 0-6s Kiki flies happily as Hugo's sand runs low.
   Hugo: Kiki, two minutes until we head home.
2. 6-16s Kiki's ribbon tail droops.
   Kiki: But I'm not done! I'm disappointed.
3. 16-25s Hugo flips a tiny plan card in his mitten hands.
   Hugo: It's okay to be disappointed. Want one last loop, then reel in?
4. 25-30s Kiki does the biggest loop-de-loop ever and reels in; her tail wraps around Hugo like a bow.
   Kiki: One last loop! Hugo: Finish with a little plan!

1. 0-6s Clippy clips Kiki's spare ribbon to his hinge and twirls.
   Clippy: Kiki, can I borrow this for my parade? I'll bring it back!
2. 6-16s Clippy parades around the yard, ribbon flowing.
   Clippy: Ta-da! Best parade float ever!
3. 16-25s The sun starts setting; Clippy stops and looks at the ribbon.
   Clippy: Oh! This is Kiki's. Time to return it.
4. 25-30s Clippy hands it back neatly folded; Kiki ties it on her tail and does a parade loop just for him.
   Kiki: Thanks for bringing it back! Clippy: Borrow, enjoy, return!

1. 0-6s Zippy finds a blue toy car under the slide.
   Zippy: Whose car is this? Bino, is it yours?
2. 6-16s Bino peers through his lenses.
   Bino: I don't know. Not knowing is a starting place!
3. 16-25s They walk around asking friends.
   Zippy: Excuse me, did anyone lose a blue car?
4. 25-30s Kiki Kite flutters down: it is hers! Zippy hands it over, and the car rolls straight back to Zippy like it wants a friend.
   Bino: Not knowing is a starting place! Zippy: Found means find its person!

1. 0-6s Friends shout game ideas loudly; Pella whispers hers.
   Pella: Um... what about a treasure hunt?
2. 6-16s Nobody hears; Kiki notices and waves her tail.
   Kiki: Wait, Pella had an idea! Ideas can arrive quietly!
3. 16-25s Pella says it again, a little louder.
   Pella: A treasure hunt! Coralie: Ooh! I'll hide the treasure. Small roles make things work!
4. 25-30s They hunt and find the treasure: Coralie herself, hiding in a laundry basket wearing a sock.
   Kiki: Ideas can arrive quietly! Pella: Found the treasure!

1. 0-6s Kiki struggles to fly higher.
   Kiki: How do I go up up up?
2. 6-16s Friends shout tips.
   Voices: More wind! Run faster! Grow longer! Wear a hat!
3. 16-25s Colly strains the tips through her holes.
   Colly: Run into the wind. That helps you act!
4. 25-30s Kiki runs into the wind and soars; Colly tries to fly too, and wind whistles through her holes like a flute.
   Kiki: I'm flying! Colly: Helpful feedback helps you act!

1. 0-6s Kiki and Raffi shout names. Tessa holds a tiny paper.
   Kiki: Sky Team! / Raffi: Leaf Team! / Tessa: Um...
2. 6-16s Raffi notices Tessa.
   Raffi: Wait. Let us agree how to decide. Every name goes in the basket. Yours too, Tessa.
3. 16-25s They drop the papers in. Kiki pulls one out.
   Kiki: Teacup Team! / Raffi: A quiet idea won!
4. 25-30s Tessa smiles. Raffi and Kiki try to do a teacup pose and fall over in a pile.
   Tessa: Thank you. / Raffi: Fair choosing for all! / Kiki: Ideas can arrive quietly!

   Kiki: My kite will not fly.
2. 6-16s Gilda closes her eyes and wishes hard. Nothing happens.

3. 16-25s Gilda grabs Kiki's string and starts to run.
   Gilda: Wish, then choose today! I choose running! Kiki: Go, Gilda!
4. 25-30s Kiki lifts into the sky. Gilda's snow swirls wildly as she runs.
   Kiki: You made the wind! Gilda: Wish, then choose today! Kiki: Wheee!

1. 0-6s Whimsy whirls through a list of game ideas. Kiki raises a small hand.
   Whimsy: Tag! Hide and seek! Races! Kiki: Um.
2. 6-16s Kiki's hand stays up. Whimsy finally notices.
   Whimsy: Wait. Kiki, do you have an idea? Kiki: Yes, a quiet one.
3. 16-25s Kiki speaks softly.
   Kiki: Shadow puppets? Whimsy: Ideas can arrive quietly! Whimsy: Ooh, yes!
4. 25-30s They make shadow puppets. Whimsy's loops cast a giant shadow balloon.

3. 16-25s Kiki's ribbon tail wiggles shyly.

4. 25-30s Dusty sweeps one last crumb into his pan with a flourish.
   Kiki Kite: Dusty swept, I sorted! / Dusty Dustpan: Credit, shared! Zero crumbs left!

1. 0-6s Field. Avi holds Kiki's string. Kiki flops.
   Avi Avocado: Kiki won't fly. I'm doing it wrong. / Kiki Kite: There's no wind.
2. 6-16s Avi leans in; Kiki speaks up a bit louder.
   Avi Avocado: What? / Kiki Kite: No wind today. That's not you. That's chance.
3. 16-25s Avi thinks; Kiki shares her quiet idea.
   Avi Avocado: So we wait for a breeze? / Kiki Kite: Or... you run!
4. 25-30s Avi runs across the grass; Kiki lifts up and soars, ribbon tail dancing.

3. 16-25s Rolo ties himself to the string as a tail. Kiki holds the end.

4. 25-30s Rolo flutters high, curling into loops that spell a wobbly smile in the sky.
